So, if you’ve been following our Instagram account, you know that I just got back from a two week trip to Europe with my husband. The two of us have actually never been abroad (until now) but when one of my husband’s closest friends decided to get married in France (…talk about romantic!!!) we gladly accepted the invitation to attend! Though the wedding was in France, we decided to travel and explore Italy for a week, before we headed to France for the wedding. I am not going to lie, leaving our two kids with their grandparents for two weeks was incredibly hard! By day two of our travels, I was already begging for Facetime calls. Though we missed them terribly, we found time to enjoy ourselves…
So…where did we go? In Italy, we traveled to Rome, Florence and Tuscany. We got to spend some time in Paris, as well, before heading West to the wedding destination in La Trinite Su Mer. We arranged some great tours…ate some amazing food…and documented some unforgettable memories.
When I was packing for my trip, I obviously didn’t want to compromise cuteness for comfort, so I tried to keep my outfits cute, but functional! I packed a lot of easy dresses and shorts + tanks/tops. As for shoes, I lived in my Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals and, while comfortable, they gave me a slight ‘gladiator’ tan (…total fashion fail…but I did [obviously] wear sunscreen)! During the day, I either wore sneakers or flat sandals, while at night, I either opted for flat sandals or a pair with a thick heel. Everything was super casual everywhere we went, but I liked having options in my suitcase.
Here is a round up of some of my favorite outfits from the trip, with links!
